Our mission, in the club's own words.
To promote and encourage figure skating at all levels, whilst at the same time, create, maintain and promote a healthy and positive environment in which our members can develop physically and emotionally through the sport of figure skating.
The Club covers Figure, Ice Dance and Pairs Skating. Beyond regular ice time, members take part in off-ice fitness and conditioning, show performances for the public, and club galas — all age, skill and developmentally appropriate.

Junior Club
For members who have passed all of Grade 5 of the Skate UK programme. Must be 15 or under on joining, and move up to Main Club at Silver grade or by their 16th birthday.
Fridays, 4:45pm – 5:30pm
Main Club
For members who have passed the Silver grade of the Skate UK Free Skating programme.
Fridays, 5:30pm – 6:30pm
£260/year
Aged 17 and under, paid quarterly (£65 every 3 months — about £21.66 a month).
£68/year
Aged 18 and over — or any member 17 and under who has achieved National 6 or above.
Open all year
Through every school holiday. Closed only for Show week, galas, and Christmas/New Year's Day.

From first-timers to competitors, our coaching team spans decades of experience — including British champions, former Team GB skaters, and coaches who've been part of Riverside for over thirty years.
Daniel Thomas
Coaching at Riverside for over three decades. British Pairs champion as a skater; has coached multiple British champions and medallists.
Sophia Streubel
Former Team GB skater who competed in ISU Junior Grand Prix events and the Youth Olympics. Now coaches all ages and levels.
Steven White
Skating since age 3. Coaches everyone from first-timers to competitors — "whether you've got children as young as 2 or are someone in their 70s."
We don't photograph your child. That's the point.
The Club has fully adopted British Ice Skating's safeguarding guidelines. We don't permit photography or video during normal Club sessions — only at specific events we announce in advance, with a chance to opt out. Any images we do hold are stored securely, and only ever shared with express permission, to protect the child.

Run by families, for families.
CRISC is entirely self-funded and volunteer-run. Our committee — parents, skaters and friends of the sport — meets every month, and we always welcome new hands, whether that's joining the committee or helping out as a Club Chaperone at shows and galas.
